Join Us
The PAL family is an all-inclusive group of volunteers and as long as you share out core values and can follow our code of conduct (found here) you will always be made welcome – no matter who you are.
We are a very welcoming group and many of our members have made life long friendships through our regular events.
The first step to joining us is simply: come along to an event. Come and meet everyone and help some animals at the same time!
If you have never been in public doing outreach before, or even if you have, sometimes nerves can get the better of you.
You will never be asked to do anything more than you are comfortable with and we have many volunteers who will simply hold a sign up and nothing more.
If you do want to get stuck straight in and talk to the public, you are more than welcome to do that too; everything is at your own pace.
Many of our events our followed by a short social (coffee/drinks/food/etc) where you will get the chance to find out more about each of us.
Once you have come to a couple of events and decided you would like to start coming to them regularly, we will also invite you to our private Facebook group and chats.
